Hi everyone, it's Ailsa, I have decided to have a go at running Our Life With Cerebral Palsy on my own as Amber has said she doesn't have the time to run it with me.
I'm going to make some small changes. One of these changes will be not sharing blog posts that I publish on Brains on Wheels. With that in mind, if you enjoy reading my blog posts, you can follow my blog by subscribing using the simple form which can be found on the page entitled 'My Blog' and every single blog post. You can also follow my blog on Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest (click on the Social Media names to follow me).
I don't know if it will work, but I have a plan. This will start on Monday (09/07/18):
Mondays - Community
I will share your stories, you choose whether you want to post your stories yourself, and I'll share your post, or you can contact me with your stories and I'll post it as the page. (It goes onto Twitter and Pinterest too). Choose if you want your name published or not.
Wednesdays - Ask Ailsa.
You can ask me questions (I will answer them as best as I can. Please no personal ones)
Fridays - Free.
I'm not going to scedual anything for Fridays. You can choose!
Here's a little update: I have completed the first year of my level 2 I.T. course (yes, first year, I'll explain it all after this). Right, where do I start? Last September (2017), I was under the impression that I enrolled onto the second year of my BTec I.T. course, but about two weeks (or a month) in, I received some work that I was sure I had done, so I queried it and the teacher said that she couldn't put the work that I did previously in with the work I was doing this year because it wasn't her that taught it to me. By this time, I was confused and upset and angry. (I think I almost raised hell, maybe I did). This went on for a few weeks...
Then I was told that it was a one year course. Finally, after all the information about this had been gathered, it turned out that I was in fact doing the first year of a two year course. There were other on-going issues in I.T., but I don't think I should mention those... I was extremely annoyed about the whole ordeal, but I couldn't do anything about it, so I just got on with it. So, I will be doing the second year in September, hopefully.
As for my English GCSE, I did the final exams in June. I did my Speaking and Listening exam on the 8th of March, and passed! Then there were two papers, the first one was on the 5th of June, and the second one was the 8th. I think I did well, we'll find out in August...
