Hi everyone, it's Ailsa here. I hope you are well.
As a result of Faith's reluctant departure, Amber and I have decided to put this project on hold for a while because we don't know what to do with it. As you probably know Faith and I were the main ones who posted on the page, Amber did a bit, too.
Faith has left due to having lots of work to do as an Ambassador for the charity called CP Teens UK. You can read Faith's leaving message here.
Even though we will not be active on Our Life With Cerebral Palsy for the time being, Amber and I will still check our messages, and we will still interact with whoever contacts us, so please do keep sending us your messages.
In 2013, when we created Our Life With Cerebral Palsy, we didn't know how much of an impact it would make. The response was phenomenal!
These five years have been simply amazing. We've had a laugh along the way, and I have loved every minute of it! You have made our community special too, you have helped us reach so many people, we can't even begin to describe how much it means to us!
Amber and I are busy working extremely hard to pass our courses at college.
Amber is working to meet deadlines, she has two before Christmas.
I'm working towards my English GCSE and my BTec level two qualification in IT. My English GCSE is my main focus, and next in line is my IT. I have to focus on these for now...
This is not necessarily goodbye forever, but unfortunately, I don't think we can carry on with this project at this moment, as well as juggling our college work and our personal lives.
I am still going to be posting my thoughts on Brains on Wheels, so if you enjoy my blog, please follow me on:
